District Jail, Champhai
Established and commissioned on 29.11.1990 it is located at 2 ½ kms from D.C Court. It has a capacity of accommodating 126 prisoners (108 male and 18 female ). All Jail employees headed by Jail Superintendent look after this jail. 76% of them are provided with staff quarters in the jail complex. Indoor Games like Chess, Draught Board, Chinese Checker, Carrom are present inside Jail Complex, besides, Volleyball Court had also been placed.
